Funzing Talks | UK Drugs Gang: 14 Years Undercover

Funzing Talks is a new concept which aims to re-invent your after work drinks. They've pulled together an impressive array of leading entrepreneurs, intellectuals, bright thinkers and incredible individuals to inspire your evenings. Held in a hand picked range of bars across Manchester, and now London, a Funzing Talks event makes the perfect after work activity.

Funzing has always encouraged you to do something different with your free time, so we say do just that - you never know where it may lead you!

**This talk includes a small wine, beer or soft drink.

Meet Neil Woods - a former Police Officer who worked undercover for 14 years as part of the war on drugs. From a samurai sword to the neck and being stripped naked at gun point Neil had many near death experiences as he infiltrated drug gangs across the U.K.

He will recount tales from his undercover days and use these to illustrate how police tactics lead to the monopolisation and increased violence of Organised Crime, as the vulnerable victims of the Drug War are trampled in the crossfire.

A cross section of views are especially welcome during questions. Join us at a cool East London Canal-side location for one of the most interesting talks you'll see all year.

Doors: 7pm / Talk starts: 7.30pm
