Funzing Talks| The Future of Your DNA

Funzing Talks is a new concept which aims to re-invent your after work drinks. They've pulled together an impressive array of leading entrepreneurs, intellectuals, bright thinkers and incredible individuals to inspire your evenings. Held in a hand picked range of bars across Manchester, and now London, a Funzing Talks event makes the perfect after work activity.

Funzing has always encouraged you to do something different with your free time, so we say do just that - you never know where it may lead you!

**This talk includes a small wine, beer or soft drink

It might shock you to realise that your DNA changes during your lifetime. Whether it be age, diet, stress, exercise or any number of activities; your body's progress through life changes your DNA on a fundamental level. Does your DNA define you? How and why does your DNA change? Jump into the world of Genetics with Dr Charlotte Mykura as she explores your DNA and the future of DNA science.

Dr Charlotte Mykura is a scientist and geneticist. After studying Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge she went on to undertake her PhD in Genetics at Imperial College London, before deciding to move into a medical career. Charlotte is also a comedian, and in her spare time enjoys scooting around South London looking for fungi.
