Christmas Party Tips

Should you be given the exciting task of organising a work Christmas party here are some top tips for you:

Be First!

All the best venues get booked up well in advance and certainly the best dates get booked first. Be as quick as you can with letting your venue know which dates you are after. The most popular dates in the Christmas party calendar are the first two Thursdays in December.

Budget.

For your Christmas party, you want to go all out. However, with those who are doing many things to celebrate, the good good thing to know is, quieter and often less expensive days to hire are Mondays and Tuesdays. If you're not working with a large budget, get everyone to party earlier in the week and have them talking about your party for the rest of the working days!

Area bookings

Don't hesitate to go for area bookings for smaller groups. They often come with less hassle, yet some of the best parties we've had were groups of 40 - 50!

Get your production ready!!

Whether you are planning a photo booth, a comparison, a Saturday night fever dance floor, a photographer or one of London's beautiful eccentric performers. Get them booked in advance and always ask your venue to request pricing for you, as venues can often get better rates than individuals and may already have contacts.

Make your event personal.

Venues will often enhance your event by creating a personalised menu. These menus can often be themed and named by members of your business to add that personalised touch. Venues won’t often offer this but are amenable when asked so make sure you ask.
